APH-01

The most advanced T3 prototype ever designed

Born to tackle the most extreme terrain

Our passions : sustainability and environment

Apache Automotive was founded by a group of entrepreneurs who were passionate about sustainability and environment. They believed that the automotive industry needed to change and that it was their responsibility to make that change happen, proving one more time Motorsport must innovate first.

APH-01 drive the future

Hybrid System :

A hybrid car improves sustainability in several ways :

  • Longer Lifespan

Hybrid cars often have a longer lifespan compared to traditional cars, as they are designed to be more efficient and produce less wear and tear on the engine. This means that hybrid cars can provide a sustainable mode of transportation for a longer period of time.

Overall, hybrid cars improve sustainability by reducing fuel consumption, emissions, and air pollution. They also provide a more efficient and longer-lasting alternative to traditional cars, making them a more sustainable option for transportation.

  • Regenerative Braking

Hybrid cars use regenerative braking technology, which captures the energy normally lost during braking and stores it in the car’s battery. This means that the battery is charged while driving, reducing the need for gasoline and further improving fuel efficiency.

  • Reduced Emissions:

Hybrid cars produce fewer emissions than traditional gasoline cars, which reduces the amount of harmful pollutants released into the environment. This makes hybrid cars a cleaner alternative for transportation and helps to reduce air pollution.

  • Fuel Efficiency

A hybrid car combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor, which improves fuel efficiency and reduces the amount of gasoline needed to power the car. This means that hybrid cars produce fewer greenhouse gas emissions and use less fossil fuel compared to traditional cars. The goal for the APH-01 is to reduce by 20% the fuel consumption.

The new T3U FIA regulation was the best way to be aligned with the futur. The first T3U of the brand, called APH-01, will lean on three pilars : advanced hybrid system, second generation of bio fuel and flax fiber for most of body shell elements.

Flax Fiber

Flax fiber is a natural composite material made from the fibers of the flax plant. It is an opportunity for the motorsport industry to replace the traditional materials such as carbon fiber and fiberglass. This is because flax fiber offers a number of advantages over these materials, including improved environmental sustainability, reduced weight, increased impact resistance, and improved vibration damping.

In the context of motorsport body shell applications, flax fiber can be used to create lightweight and durable body shells for racing cars. This is particularly useful in motorsport, where weight reduction is a key factor in achieving maximum speed and performance. Flax fiber body shells can be used in a range of motorsport applications, from high-performance racing cars to off-road vehicles and rally cars.

One of the key benefits of using flax fiber in motorsport body shells is its high strength-to-weight ratio. Flax fiber is lighter than traditional materials like carbon fiber, but it is also stronger, making it an excellent choice for creating lightweight, high-performance body shells that can withstand the rigors of racing. Additionally, flax fiber has a high level of impact resistance, which can help protect the driver and the vehicle in the event of a crash.

Another advantage of flax fiber is its excellent vibration damping properties. This is particularly important in motorsport, where high levels of vibration can cause fatigue and discomfort for the driver. By using flax fiber in the body shell, the amount of vibration that is transmitted to the driver is reduced, improving comfort and reducing fatigue.

Finally, flax fiber is a more environmentally sustainable material than traditional composites. It is renewable, biodegradable, and requires less energy to produce than carbon fiber or fiberglass. This makes it an attractive choice for motorsport teams that are looking to reduce their environmental impact.
